Community Involvement

At Methvin Terrell we are committed to giving back to our community.  Our attorneys are involved in numerous charitable and civic causes in the Birmingham area and throughout the country.  Our attorneys currently serve or have recently served on the Board of Cystic Fibrosis - Hope for Alabama, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Alabama Chapter, Big Time Ministries, The Board of A Blessed Brokenness, The Board for Southside Baseball Association, Laps for Cystic Fibrosis, Jones Valley Teaching Farm SOW Board, the Junior Board of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Birmingham-Southern College Young Alumni Council, Rotaract Club of Birmingham, The American Bar Foundation, The Alabama Bar Foundation, The Birmingham Bar Foundation, Alabama Association for Justice, and Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham.

Our lawyers are also active volunteers with youth sports, having coached teams for soccer, volleyball, baseball, football, and basketball while also serving as commissioners of baseball leagues.  Our attorneys also serve on youth committees and community outreach organizations through their respective churches, including St. Stephens Episcopal Church, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Trinity United Methodist Church, and Church of the Highlands.
