Patrick’s practice focuses on contingent fee business and complex litigation, including class actions with national, state-wide, and regional scope. Throughout his practice, Patrick has represented countless entrepreneurs, small businesses and consumers involved in commercial business disputes in both state and federal forums throughout the country. Prior to joining Methvin Terrell, P.C., Patrick practiced in the architects, engineers, and environmental litigation group of a regional defense firm.
Patrick received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law where he served as a Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review and Vice President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Patrick’s student note was also selected for publication in Volume 63 of the Alabama Law Review. Prior to attending law school, Patrick received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from The University of Georgia and spent several years working in the commercial real estate and financial service industries.
Patrick is licenced to practice in Alabama and Georgia, and is very active in the Young Lawyers Section of the Birmingham Bar Association. Additionally, Patrick serves on the Junior Board for the Jefferson County Court Appointed Special Advocates (“CASA”).
Recently, Patrick was selected to the 2019 Mid-South Rising Star list by Super Lawyers® for the Class Action/Mass Torts practice area, an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice. Only 2.5% of attorneys in the Mid-South receive this distinction.
